Next Sunday, November 12, I will be selling my paper clay pieces at Handmade'ns. Handmade'ns is a local group of around 10 "crafty ladies" who meet about once a month to eat, chat about the local craft scene, share ideas and projects and just have a good time. Then, each year, on a Sunday afternoon in November, we have the Handmade'ns Boutique when we sell our individual creations. We all get a little stressed out about getting stuff ready for our boutique but when the day comes we have so much fun! Handmaden's has been around since 1977, with different members coming and going. The group has developed quite a reputation for having quality stuff. People usually start lining up at the door an hour to an hour and a half before we open to get the free pin we give away to the first 50 people through the door and to get first choice of our stuff. It's so much fun to be a part of the excitement!
